CELEBRATING THE 'F' WORD PART 2

Hiya, guys. What's up? So it's the day of the general elections and there's a lot of tension. Even me sef, I don leave school find where I wan hide my head cos I no want plenty story story.
As promised in my last post, I said that I would put part of celebrating the f word this week and here it is. Do I hear a cheers from someone? Lol
So, in this post I've chosen to celebrate family.
Family, without me saying much is one of the most important institutions in life. It forms the building block and contributes the most to the shaping of an individual.
Now, we all know these bobo juice, don't we? After all, we all did social studies in school. But, today am not going to be talking about all those formalities they teach you in school or in d movies. Am going to give a real take on what family is.
I watched a movie not long ago and there were two brothers, with one constantly getting into trouble, and so the other was pissed at his brothers latest escapade and was ranting on how reckless and selfish his brother is for always getting them into trouble and his uncle answered simply, what do you think family is for? You think its to make you feel good? No, family is to inconvenience you and make you miserable and teach you what sacrifice is all about. And when I heard it, I thought yeah, that is so right.
You see, family are the first people we acculturise to and they are the first people we love even before God, cos as kids we don't know about God yet.
It is with family we learn life's values and those things that make us what we are.
Now, family is d best thing ever, but it's not all sweet and rosy all the time. Family is sacrifice, we sacrifice everyday for our family because that's how it should be. Let's not begin to count the sacrifices our parents make for us or elder siblings have to make for younger ones (Zino, leave it for him nah, he's your younger brother; sound familiar?) Or vice-versa.
Point is, family will always inconvenience you. However, the beauty is that no matter what they do, how annoying they may be, you just gotta love them and you know why? Because they're family.
And though they can be the most annoying creatures (mom that always complains no matter how sweet the soup is and sister that always mistakes your clothes for hers, bro that somehow mistakenly puts on your wireless and taps it though he has no idea how it happened), they are the ones who are always there for you, loving you, supporting you, criticising you and ultimately moulding you.
Having said all that, lemme celebrate my amazing family with some pics for you.

My younger brother, Yole who for some reason I don't understand, considers me his mum and hence is always bugging me.

Am pretty sure this face needs no introduction. Hehehe, yours truly.

If you felt I stressed on the annoying too much, don't blame me, this is d reason, my elder brother, Oreva.*sigh.

And the woman that looks like my elder sister instead of my mom. She no dey free old. Lol. #mamaoflife.

Haha, the man behind the wheel, our father and the one who supports us like a rock. Too much love for this man.

If you love your family as much as I do mine, let 'em know today, share this post and tag family cos in d end, they're d bestest most awesometastic people we'll ever know.

Till next post, family rocks!!! Xoxo
