The question posed above is not totally unfamiliar. Many of us have heard it at one point or the other even if just on social media. However, how many of us have really taken the time to ponder on this question deeply and the meaning that the answer has on our lives. If you are asked this question in a job interview, chances are your potential employers want to know what skills or extra flair you can bring aside from what is stated on your resume. They want to know how having “YOU” on their team will be a plus for them. Notice the fact that I put “you” in caps. Let me explain. Most likely, you are not the only one being interviewed for that particular position. If you are being interviewed for the position of an accountant, then all the other candidates bring in their accounting skills to the table. I have learnt time and time again that our purpose sometimes is beyond what we see at the present. Hey guys, hope you're all doing well? Remember in my last blog post, I talked about starting over? Well, my blog is really going to be doing a lot of that. When I first started blogging, I wasn't sure what I was going to blog about. I love to write but it has always been just a hobby and I never really took it seriously. Actually, I never really believed that I was that good a writer or that I could make a career out of it. That was until I got a job as a content writer. Details on that story in another post 😁 When I also started blogging, my purpose was unclear. Everyone was either a gossip or beauty and fashion blogger. I can't do gossip and I'm not exactly beauty and fashion role model or expert either so I was really confused. I decided to just wing it. This further fueled why I gave up after a while, I didn't even know what I was doing...

What do you do when you lose yourself? When you feel you have failed and can't find your way back? How do you get back on track after giving up on a dream? For over a year, I have not written a single post on this blog. Of course, I accept I wasn't always consistent but I never ever allowed the blog stay dormant for so long. Actually, I was beginning to get better at the frequency of my posts but then something happened, If you click here , you will see a post where I encouraged all who read my blog to share as much as possible so that others could also visit the blog. Sadly, that wasn't happening, my blog wasn't getting traction and I got super discouraged.  My last two posts got less than 50 views each and I just began to wonder if this was really worth it. Note that money was not even the cause of this, after all, I hadn't even commercialized the blog yet but i felt like people weren't even appreciating my work. I mean, every blogge...
